What's the Role Like?
No two days are the same.
You'll support individuals to live life to the fullest, providing personal care, administering medication, and promoting health and wellbeing in a safe, person-centred way. Beyond that, you'll help create enjoyable and rewarding experiences, whether that's:
- Arts and crafts sessions
- Baking and cooking activities
- Supporting trips out in the local community
- Spending time on the service's on-site farm
- Encouraging hobbies, independence, and new experiences
Every shift is a chance to make someone smile, build their confidence, and help them achieve their goals.
Shift Requirements
We're looking for candidates who can commit to:
- Evening shifts: 17:30 - 22:00
- Long day shifts available: 14.5 hours
- Service operates 7 days per week
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 months' experience within care or support work
- Confident providing personal care and medication support
- Epilepsy Awareness experience or training
- Drivers welcome due to the location, but not essential
- A DBS on the Update Service is advantageous, though we can help arrange a new one
