Teaching Assistants Wanted – Port Talbot and surrounding areas!
TeacherActive works with a number of welcoming primary schools across Port Talbot and the surrounding areas and is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team.
We offer a variety of opportunities to suit your lifestyle, including full-time positions and flexible day-to-day supply work.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across all primary key stages, supporting pupils in a range of classroom settings. Responsibilities may also include providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs, helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

THE ROLE:
• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
• Assisting with classroom preparation, resources, and activities
• Encouraging pupil participation and promoting positive behaviour
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Minimum 6 months experience working with children
• Experience can be voluntary, school-based, or from transferable roles (youth work, care, coaching, etc.)
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
