Summary
Business Support Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Business Support Officer based in the Outer North West Division across multiple sites including Wembley and Willesden Centres for Health and Care.
The Post holder will play a key administrative support role as part of the Brent Integrated Clinical Services Units to the Head of Clinical Services and Clinical Services Managers to deliver timely, accurate and relevant information to assist all staff on the planning and provision of the best possible healthcare for patients.
Main duties of the job
The Business Support Officer will play a key role in undertaking data input and work closely with the Divisional Business team to ensure information is shared appropriately with clinical teams. The post holder will assist the Head of Clinical Services and Clinical Services Managers by producing activity and trend reports to monitor performance of the clinical services. The post holder will provide day to day support including organising meetings, events, training and projects across the services.
The post holder will supervise junior staff, participate in induction and training . The Business Support Officer will also support Divisional administrative tasks as required. The postholder will utilise skills such as managing and prioritising workloads independently, adhering to confidentiality policies regarding patient records and communication and maintain up to date knowledge through continuing education.
The Business Support Officer for the Brent Integrated Clinical Service Units will play a pivotal role in the essential administrative and business support functions. You will work collaboratively with the Head of Clinical Services and Clinical Services Managers to be highly visible to the teams within the Clinical Services Units. You will provide flexible and adaptable business support, professionalism, and support junior staff where required to support the overall business objectives.
You will be expected to provide support including organising meetings, events, training and Divisional administrative priorities as required.
The Business Support Officer will be responsible for effective liaison and communication with all stakeholders including the Head of Clinical Services, Clinical Services Managers, Team leads and all staff within the Division to deliver the overall business and performance objectives.
