Summary

A reputable automotive dealership in Tonbridge is seeking a Service Advisor to join their team. This is an excellent Service Advisor opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals looking to advance their careers within a prestigious and well-established dealership group. The Service Advisor will be the first point of contact for customers, providing expert advice and exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Benefits:

- Competitive basic salary of £32,000 to £34,000, negotiable based on experience

- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:30, with one in four Saturdays 08:00 to 13:00

Duties of a Service Advisor:

- Assisting with workshop control and workflow management

- Advising customers on vehicle servicing options and repairs

- Booking and scheduling vehicle services efficiently

- Liaising with customers regarding additional work or repairs needed

- Producing estimates for repairs, including time and costs

- Handling customer queries and complaints professionally

- Providing progress reports and tracking vehicles through the workshop

- Coordinating with workshop staff and other departments to ensure smooth service delivery

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

- Previous motor trade experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role

- Good technical understanding of motor vehicles

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task

- Professional, polite, and attentive attitude

- Confidence in processing payments and handling customer relations

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Full UK driving licence, preferably clean
