Primary Supply Teaching Assistant

Who are you?

The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, empathetic, and ready to jump in and make a difference as a SEN Teaching Assistant. We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant with:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent.
  • An understanding of child development and best practices for SEN assistance.

As a Teaching Assistant focused on SEN support, you will be the child's champion. Your day-to-day responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant will include:

  • Tailored Learning: Implementing specific learning and development plans under the guidance of the Class Teacher or SENCO.
  • Emotional & Social Support: Offering a consistent and vital source of encouragement, helping the child feel secure and confident.
