CNC Sliding Head / Fixed Head Setter Operator
Stourbridge £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience) Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30 ✅ Potential Immediate Start
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced
CNC Sliding Head and/or Fixed Head Setter Operator to join a well-established precision engineering company based in the Stourbridge area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing manufacturer offering stable, long-term work with the potential for an immediate start.
Duties Include:
- Setting and operating CNC Sliding Head and/or Fixed Head machines
- Producing high-quality precision engineered components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Conducting quality checks using measuring equipment
- Making tool and offset adjustments when required
- Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC Sliding Head or Fixed Head machines
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable, punctual and capable of working independently
