Summary
- Oversee the daily operation of a busy scaffolding and equipment yard.
- Manage and supervise a team of up to six yard staff.
- Plan staff rotas and manage attendance and absence.
- Organise scaffolding materials and equipment for upcoming projects.
- Ensure equipment is checked, maintained and ready for dispatch.
- Coordinate the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials.
- Manage Layher systems, tube and fitting scaffolding and hoarding equipment.
- Oversee the organisation of concrete blocks and Heras fencing.
- Maintain safe working practices and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Work closely with management to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Remain actively involved in day-to-day yard duties and lead the team by example.
