Summary
- Carry out high-quality heritage carpentry and architectural joinery on a major restoration project.
- Repair, restore and replace historic timber features, including doors, windows, frames and panelling.
- Produce and fit bespoke timber components using traditional joinery techniques.
- Match existing profiles, materials, details and finishes accurately.
- Work from drawings, specifications, measurements and site instructions.
- Assess whether historic timber can be repaired rather than replaced.
- Use hand tools and woodworking equipment safely and effectively.
- Work closely with site managers, other trades and conservation specialists.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional work area.
