About the role as a Construction Brickwork TechnicianAre you an experienced construction professional with a background in bricklaying or brickwork and a passion for supporting practical learning? We are seeking a Construction Brickwork Technician to join our Construction & Engineering team in Guildford.This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to learner success by maintaining industry-standard brickwork workshops, managing construction materials and learning resources, supporting practical teaching, learning and assessment activities, and ensuring a safe, organised and well-equipped learning environment. Working closely with teaching staff, you will help create realistic construction training environments that enable learners to develop the technical skills, professional behaviours and safe working practices required for successful careers in the construction industry.As a Construction Brickwork Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of practical teaching, learning and assessment by:Preparing workshops, practical activities, demonstrations, assessments and learning resources to support teaching and learning.Maintaining brickwork workshops, training bays, tools, equipment and construction learning environments to industry standards.Managing stock control, ordering construction materials and consumables, and maintaining accurate inventory, inspection and compliance records.Supporting learners to develop technical competence, professional behaviours and safe working practices within practical training environments.Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, COSHH requirements, risk assessments and construction industry regulations.What do you need to be a successful Construction Brickwork Technician at Activate Learning?We are looking for a proactive and organised construction professional with relevant industry experience and a commitment to creating outstanding learning environments.
