Summary
Senior Communications Officer needed in Southampton
This is a temporary role and the rate is £21.65ph PAYE
The reference number is: 5304215
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, creative individual with strong copywriting and planning skills. They will support a Public Health team on communications strategies to deliver targeted messages to residents, colleagues and stakeholders and will be reporting to the Communications Manager for Wellbeing, you will be responsible for creating and implementing communications and engagement plans for a variety of projects. You will use a range of communications channels, from digital to traditional PR.
This role will suit someone with strong copywriting skills, writing for different audiences, creating content for different social media channels, and experience of working closely with the media and building relationships. Filming and editing experience is desirable, and the successful candidate should have a willingness to learn.
