Summary

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an on-site Part Time Administrator to join our Ministry of Justice (MoJ) team in HMP Ranby.

The standard hours of work are 15 hours per week Tuesday and Thursday 8am – 5pm.

The hourly rate starts at £13.45.

At Amey, we’re supporting our justice client, His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) by providing them with safe, clean and efficient prisons.

By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly.

The Part Time Administrator plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner.

What you will do:

Process and handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.

Assist with the delivery of services to the client using a case management system.

Receive and disseminates information to other team members to ensure service delivery.

Share information to ensure HMPS needs are met. Work with HMPS on site vetting team to aid in the onboarding of new starters.

Input to and maintain spreadsheets/databases/systems and produce and collate reports.

Raise purchase orders and arrange payment of invoices.

Support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.

Take direction from Site Manager and wider team members.

Handle all other reasonable requests as determined by your line manager.
