Summary

We are seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join a well-established dealership in Burton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to contribute to a busy workshop, develop their skills, and progress their career within a reputable organisation. The successful individual will be responsible for maintaining high standards of vehicle care across a range of established automotive brands.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards

- Perform diagnostics and rectify mechanical and electrical faults

- Carry out thorough vehicle inspections and prepare reports on vehicle condition, safety, and performance

- Complete vehicle safety tests, including MOTs (if qualified)

- Ensure vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet quality standards as a Vehicle Technician

- Maintain accurate records of work completed

- Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity goals and quality standards

- Collaborate effectively within a busy workshop team

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Vehicle Repair

- At least 3 years of practical workshop experience, preferably within a main dealer environment

- Experience in diagnostics and using electronic systems

- MOT licence desirable but not essential

- Strong mechanical skills with attention to detail

- Positive attitude and teamwork skills

- Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points
