Duties of a Van Technician:

- Service, adjust and repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards

- Diagnose faults and carry out testing using recognised procedures and equipment

- Conduct inspections and identify defects or potential failures

- Complete repairs, component replacements, and re-assemblies safely and efficiently

- Road test vehicles when necessary to ensure repairs have been successful

- Accurately document work carried out and advise on recharge costs

- Observe health and safety standards during all work activities

Requirements of a Van Technician:

- NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanics

- Proven experience working on light commercial vehicles or transit vans

- Full UK driving licence

- Comprehensive toolkit for work on light commercials

- Strong attention to detail and diagnostic ability
