This is a days-based role suited to an experienced driver who is confident completing local drops safely, professionally and on time.Key responsibilities• Carry out local drops using an HGV Class 2 vehicle• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects• Load, secure and deliver goods safely• Complete delivery paperwork accurately• Maintain a professional approach when representing the business• Follow all relevant transport, road safety and operational proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 licence• Valid Driver CPC qualification• Digital tachograph card• Previous experience completing local drops• Good knowledge of local roads and routes• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach• Good communication and customer service skillsBenefits• Pay between £16 and £17 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersAbout the companyThis Worcestershire-based logistics business provides transport and supply-chain services, including general haulage, food and ambient goods distribution, warehousing, container handling and waste transport.
