Summary
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a varied warehouse environment and is comfortable with both forklift driving and physical duties.
THE ROLE
The position will involve approximately:
20% Forklift Driving
80% Warehouse & Manual Duties
Duties will include:
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift
• Loading and unloading materials
• Moving stock and recyclable materials around the site
• General warehouse duties
• Manual handling and physical work
• Sorting and handling materials
• Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised
• Following site health and safety procedures
• Supporting the wider warehouse/recycling operation as required
WORKING HOURS
Monday to Friday
The shifts rotate weekly between:
6:00am – 3:00pm
11:00am – 8:00pm
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Previous warehouse experience
• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• Comfortable with regular manual handling and physical work
• Reliable and punctual
• Good awareness of health and safety
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• In-house Counterbalance FLT licences will be considered, provided candidates can show their certificate. An accredited FLT qualification is preferred.
