We are seeking a Technical Assurance Officer to conduct independent assurance reviews of technical compliance, maintenance activities, remedial works, asset records and supporting documentation.

​The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring contractual, statutory and organisational requirements are met while supporting governance, compliance and audit readiness.

Job Description

We are looking for a confident and detail-oriented professional with experience reviewing technical documentation and compliance records.

​This role requires the ability to interpret technical information, identify and escalate compliance risks, engage effectively with stakeholders, and support continual improvement across compliance and assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Review and assess technical compliance documentation, inspection reports, certifications and maintenance records to ensure adherence with contractual, statutory and organisational requirements.

Conduct independent assurance reviews of maintenance activities, remedial works, asset records and supporting documentation.

Validate remedial and corrective actions through assessment of supporting evidence, photographs, test results and work records.

Identify, record and escalate compliance risks, defects, non-conformances and data quality issues to support timely resolution and risk mitigation.

Maintain accurate assurance records, audit trails and performance reporting to support governance, regulatory compliance and audit readiness.

Collaborate with Technical Compliance Managers, subject matter experts, operational teams, and Asset & Data Management functions to improve technical compliance performance.

Support assurance reviews of CAFM records, asset information and maintenance activities to verify accuracy, completeness and compliance.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Experience reviewing technical compliance documentation, maintenance records, certifications and remedial works within FM, engineering, property or infrastructure environments.

Strong understanding of compliance, assurance and audit principles, with the ability to assess technical evidence and identify non-conformances.

Confidence in reviewing, interpreting and assessing technical documentation.

Experience identifying, recording and escalating compliance risks and issues.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple teams.

Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk identification and problem-solving.

Confident communicator capable of influencing positive compliance outcomes.

Professional, objective and committed to maintaining high standards of governance, compliance and continual improvement.
