Summary

Are you passionate about helping people get back into work and changing their lives? Join us as an Employability Adviser, delivering the Restart Scheme helping long-term unemployed adults (6 months or more) find sustainable employment. We have positions available in both our Blackpool & Carlisle offices.

In this role, you’ll work one-on-one with participants, providing tailored employment support to break down barriers, build confidence, and equip them with the skills needed to re-enter the job market. Whether it’s personalised career coaching, retraining for a new sector, or supported job searching, you’ll be there every step of the way.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Empowering individuals with expert career advice, motivation, and confidence-building strategies

• Delivering intensive one-to-one support, helping participants identify their strengths and transferable skills

• Creating tailored action plans to help individuals achieve their employment goals

• Facilitating engaging group sessions to support job search strategies and skill development

• Keeping up with the local job market and building relationships with employers to create opportunities

• Managing your own caseload, ensuring each participant receives ongoing support and guidance

• Meeting and exceeding targets, making a tangible impact on people's lives
