We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client’s reputable dealership in York. The Vehicle Technician will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service standards and maintaining high-quality aftersales operations.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

- Service and maintain a wide range of vehicles, including performing diagnostic, warranty, and repair work

- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and cambelt replacements

- Complete electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with dealer standards

- Accurately update digital job cards and write-ups

- Follow safety procedures and work efficiently within team guidelines

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold high standards of quality

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

- Recognised Level 2 or 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, with exposure to warranty and servicing work preferred

- Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to safety and quality standards

- MOT Licence is advantageous; full training can be provided for the right individual

- Eagerness to learn and develop within a supportive environment
