The business places emphasis on reliable service, quality procedures and meeting the needs of its healthcare-focused customers.The roleAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:• Carrying out scheduled collections and deliveries safely and efficiently• Loading, securing and unloading linen and related goods• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues• Following delivery schedules, site procedures and road safety requirements• Completing relevant paperwork and delivery records accurately• Providing a professional and helpful service at collection and delivery points• Maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentationSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 licence, Category C+E• Valid Driver CPC qualification• Valid digital tachograph card• Previous commercial driving experience• Good knowledge of UK roads and safe driving practices• Reliable, punctual and professional approach• Good communication and customer service skills• Ability to work independently and manage scheduled routes• Physically able to carry out loading and unloading dutiesBenefits• £18 per hour• Day shifts• Temporary opportunity• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersApply today.
