The role offers the opportunity to work in a practical distribution environment as part of a team focused on reliable, efficient service.The roleWe are looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver to support daytime delivery and transport activities in Sheffield. You will help ensure goods are moved safely, efficiently and on schedule.Key responsibilities• Carry out local deliveries and collections using an HGV Class 2 vehicle• Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift• Load, secure and unload goods safely• Follow planned routes and delivery instructions• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately• Provide professional customer service at delivery locations• Report any vehicle, load or delivery issues promptly• Follow all relevant road safety, transport and workplace proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence• Current Driver CPC qualification• Valid Digital Tachograph Card• Previous commercial driving or delivery experience preferred• Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle checks• Reliable, punctual and organised approach• Able to work independently and manage time effectively• Physically able to handle delivery-related duties• Clear communication and a professional mannerBenefits• £15 per hour• Day shifts• Temporary opportunity• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersThis is a practical opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver seeking temporary daytime work in Sheffield.
