This role would suit someone who is reliable, physically capable and comfortable working as part of a two-person delivery team.Key responsibilities• Assist the driver with loading and unloading furniture and other items• Support deliveries to customers and ensure goods are handled carefully• Help check items before dispatch and during delivery• Assist with navigating delivery routes and following daily schedules• Maintain a professional and helpful manner when dealing with customers• Follow health and safety procedures, including safe manual-handling practices• Keep the vehicle and delivery areas tidySkills and qualifications• A positive, dependable approach to work• Good communication and teamwork skills• Physical ability to lift and move furniture safely• Good timekeeping and attention to detail• A customer-focused attitude• Previous delivery, warehouse or manual-handling experience would be useful, but is not essential• No formal qualifications are requiredBenefits• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersAbout the companyThis is a furniture business based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
