Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Darlington Borough Councilandrsquo;s Children and Adult Services to take the post of Commissioning Officer.andnbsp; Partnership working is excellent, with a real commitment to improving outcomes in Darlington. You will support the work of the Commissioning and Contracts Team to ensure that resources are used to commission services that make a positive impact, meet statutory obligations and contribute to overall strategic objectives. You will work as part of a team, with a focus on the specific projects, positive provider and stakeholder relations and outcome-based commissioning. You will be joining a dynamic and ambitious team which has a sharp focus on service improvement and meeting the needs and aspirations of the local people within Darlington.

The role will have a particular focus on working age adults, however there will be some opportunity to work across the different portfolio areas.

You will be passionate about achieving good outcomes for vulnerable children and adults, resilient and positive, with the ability to support, challenge and influence partners. You will have an eye for detail and be resilient with excellent relationship building skills.
