Directorate Office Administrator

We have a position available for a directorate office administrator to join our Corporate Affairs Manager based in Caterham, Surrey.

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Manager your primary responsibility will be to provide an effective administration service to the Directorate Office by:

  • Maintaining the Fleet database and replying to Fleet emails, with the guidance of the Corporate Affairs Manager.
  • Assisting with sourcing employee volunteering opportunities and keeping associated records up to date.
  • Organising meetings, including room bookings, offering refreshments and greeting external visitors.
  • Assisting the Corporate Affairs Manager with event organisation, sourcing venues and creating associated marketing material.
  • Creating presentations and general office duties.
  • Working on ad hoc projects to support the Corporate Affairs Manager

 Skills & knowledge you’ll bring:

 Extensive experience gained in a similar role

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external customers/clients at all levels

 Highly proficient IT user. Especially MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint

 Good word processing skills and ability to type efficiently.

 Excellent time management with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
