Summary

Production Operative – Sutton, ElyLocation: Sutton, ElyShift Pattern: Monday–FridayAvailable Shifts:06:00–14:00or22:00–06:00Pay:£12.71 per hour (days) / £13.50 per hour (nights)We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing operation based in Sutton, Ely.Working Monday to Friday, there are opportunities available on either the06:00–14:00day shiftor22:00–06:00night shift.This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous factory, packaging or manufacturing experience, although full training can be provided for the right person.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the setting, feeding and operation of production machinery, including gluers, die cutters, printers and casemakers.Load raw cardboard sheets and materials into production machinery.Stack completed products and prepare finished items for palletising.Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications.Check finished packaging for correct dimensions, neatness and structural quality.Maintain a clean and tidy production area.Safely clear waste materials from the factory floor.Support scheduled machinery and equipment cleaning.Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.Use the required PPE and work safely around production machinery.Work effectively as part of a team to meet production requirements.Candidate RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:Good attention to detail.Basic numerical and measurement skills.Good manual dexterity and practical ability.A reliable and hardworking approach.The ability to work well as part of a team.A willingness to learn and develop new skills.Flexibility to work a Monday–Friday factory shift pattern.Previous experience in a factory, packaging or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.Shift overflow-wrap: break-word; text-wrap: pretty; margin: 0px; margin-block: 0.25rem; color: rgb(13, 13, 13); font-family: -apple-system-body, ui-sans-serif, -apple-system, system-ui, Segoe UI, Helvetica, Apple Color Emoji, Arial, sans-serif, Segoe UI Emoji, Segoe UI Symbol; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space-collapse: collapse; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;">Days:06:00–14:00–£12.71 per hourNights:22:00–06:00 –£13.50 per hourMonday to Friday | Sutton, ElyIf you're reliable, hands-on and looking for an opportunity to build your experience within a manufacturing environment, apply today!
