The business operates in a practical, service-led environment where reliable vehicle operations and safe, efficient deliveries are important to day-to-day activities.The roleA permanent opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver. You will be responsible for completing long-distance and multi-drop deliveries, often involving more than 10 stops per shift, while maintaining high standards of safety, customer service and vehicle care.Key responsibilities• Complete planned long-distance and multi-drop delivery routes• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly• Load, secure and unload goods safely• Follow route plans, delivery instructions and site procedures• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately• Communicate professionally with customers and site teams• Work safely and responsibly at all timesSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 licence• Driver CPC qualification• Digital tachograph card• Previous experience in long-distance and multi-drop driving• Comfortable completing 10 or more deliveries per shift• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers’ hours regulations• Reliable, organised and professional approach• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude• Physically able to assist with loading and unloading where requiredBenefits• Permanent employment• Day shifts• Pay of £18 to £20 per hour• Paid every WednesdayIf you are an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a permanent daytime position in Highbridge, apply today.
