This position supports its transport and delivery requirements, contributing to the day-to-day movement of materials and goods while providing a reliable service to local and long-distance destinations.Key responsibilities• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly• Complete long-distance deliveries• Carry out multi-drop routes involving more than 10 deliveries• Load, unload and move goods using handball techniques• Complete delivery paperwork and routine vehicle checks• Follow transport, safety and legal requirements• Maintain a professional approach when representing the businessSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 driving entitlement• Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)• Digital tachograph card• Previous experience with multi-drop deliveries• Experience handling goods by hand• Comfortable with long-distance driving and nights out• Good knowledge of safe driving practices and drivers’ hours• Reliable, organised and customer-focused approach• Good communication skillsBenefits• £16.00 per hour• Permanent employment• Day-shift working• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersIf you are an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a permanent day-shift role in Bridgwater, apply today.
