The work will involve making more than 10 local drops per day, carrying out vehicle checks, completing delivery paperwork and providing a reliable service to customers.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle responsibly and in line with road and transport regulations• Completing multi-drop delivery routes, typically involving more than 10 local drops• Loading, unloading and securing goods safely• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects• Completing delivery notes and other required documentation• Maintaining a professional and helpful approach at every deliverySkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 driving entitlement• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card• Previous multi-drop driving experience• Familiarity with local delivery routes• Good understanding of vehicle safety and drivers’ hours requirements• Reliable, punctual and organised• Able to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule• Good communication and customer service skillsBenefits• £16 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Permanent, days-based work• Opportunity with a local employerAbout the companyThe employer is an established transport and distribution business operating from the Bristol area.
