Summary
About the role
In this role you play a key role in understanding of how we perform during key seasonal events and identify what we can do to improve the seasonal propositions for our customers. Working closely with our agencies, the research team and stakeholders across Tesco to have a full holistic understanding of both performance and customer needs.
You will be responsible for
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple seasonal events, working with market performance agencies (e.g. Circana, Kantar/Worldpanel, GlobalData, Dunnhumby) to evaluate performance and develop actionable recommendations.
• Develop performance review packs by collaborating with multiple agency teams and facilitate event review sessions to align stakeholders and drive informed decision making.
• Manage customer research programmes (qualitative and quantitative), including writing clear agency briefs and partnering with research teams to uncover insights and deliver compelling, insight-led narratives.
• Represent the Insight function at key governance forums (e.g. Events Board) and build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure insights inform strategic decisions.
You will need
• Strong relationship building and stakeholder management. Ability to collaborate with wider teams to land recommendations and improvements across Finance, Trade, Commercial and Marketing.
· Lead and coordinate programmes of work across multiple projects and stages, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines and milestones.
• Confidence and ability to analyse and interpret performance data and research findings e.g. Circana, Worldpanel/Kantar, to create succinct stories and insight.
• Inquisitive and curious mindset to be able to challenge questions, spot opportunities, and improve processes and ways of working.
