Summary
DC Personnel are looking for a Wet Sprayer / Paint Sprayer for the LE8 area of Leicestershire
Salary: £15 – £16 per hour DOE
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00-3:30pm, Full-time / Ongoing
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare products and surfaces ready for painting and finishing.
Carry out wet spraying and paint spraying of manufactured products.
Prepare and apply paints and coatings according to production requirements.
Carry out masking and preparation work prior to spraying.
Use spray equipment safely and efficiently.
Achieve a consistent, professional and high-quality finish.
Inspect finished products for defects, runs, marks and imperfections.
Carry out touch-ups and finishing work where required.
Clean and maintain spray guns, equipment and work areas.
Follow production instructions and quality-control procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised spraying area.
Follow company health and safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Work to production targets while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Skills:
Previous experience as a Wet Sprayer, Paint Sprayer or in a similar manufacturing/finishing role.
Practical and manual skills.
Experience using spray guns and associated equipment.
Good knowledge of paint spraying and finishing processes.
Strong attention to detail and a good eye for quality and finish.
Ability to prepare surfaces and products ready for spraying.
Ability to identify defects, imperfections and areas requiring touch-ups.
Ability to follow instructions and production specifications accurately.
Ability to work efficiently to production targets.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety and PPE requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.
