Summary

To provide specialist radiological advice and services to users of the radiology departments. To accept responsibility for compliance with Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposures) Regulations, along with the radiation protection supervisor and the radiation protection advisor. To accept personal responsibility for the clinical care of patients referred. To provide advice and information as required to clinical colleagues and other staff. To report multimodality studies within own skill set. To share responsibility for the supervision, training, and professional development of radiographic staff and other staff as necessary. To participate in teaching sessions with other clinical specialties. To attend regular department meetings and participate in department management and development of the service. To participate fully in personal and departmental audit and governance procedures. To attend relevant Trust multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings. To maintain CPD as per RCR guidelines. To fully participate in Trust appraisal and revalidation process. Please refer to the attached Job Description for further information.
