Job Description:
As a
Cleaner at
Army HQ Andover SP11 8HT, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality cleaning services that contribute to a clean, safe, and healthy environment. This role is integral to the well-being of everyone on site, and you'll be an essential part of our team. You'll have the opportunity to interact with our armed forces personnel daily, making a real impact on their quality of life and the overall atmosphere of the location.
What You’ll Do:
- Clean and maintain all designated areas to the required standards.
- Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks within the required timeframe.
- Safely use cleaning equipment, products and chemicals following appropriate training.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Complete all required training and follow instructions and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear the required uniform and PPE.
- Report accidents, near misses, hazards or faulty equipment to management.
- Communicate effectively with your manager, colleagues, customers and clients.
- Attend team briefings, meetings and performance reviews as required.
- Look after cleaning equipment, materials and supplies.
- Carry out manual handling duties where required.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by management.
What You Bring:
Essential:
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties where required.
- Reliable, responsible and willing to learn.
Desirable:
- Previous cleaning experience.
- Experience working within a military environment.
