Summary

Your main responsibilities include:

Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance work (carpentry, tiling, basic plumbing, basic electrical, guttering, decorating, plastering, kitchen and bathroom maintenance and more)

Carry out fault finding and leak investigations

Carry out repairs and/or additional work arising from examinations and investigations

Comply with Health & Safety processes and responsibilities

Complete reports and paperwork as required

Oversee and work alongside the maintenance team of your site and the work carried out

Stock-taking (where appropriate) and keep records of stock levels

Ensure that plant rooms and other maintenance areas are kept tidy, and equipment is checked on a regular basis. Faulty or broken equipment is to be reported and resolved through liaison with your Maintenance Manager

Control and direct specialist sub-contractors at all times when they visit site

Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures

Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs

Participate in regular, structured on-call system within the UK

To be responsible for all keys and locks within the site

Undertake painting duties where applicable

Adhere to procedures to ensure that all maintenance issues are completed in a timely and correct manner, efficiently, economically and for the benefit of the site and the company

To be aware of and adhere to all company Policies and Procedures

Reporting all incidents/accidents to the Maintenance Manager, filling in the accident book when required and log all incidents/accidents in the Health & Safety computerised system

To observe good personal hygiene and appearance including uniform

Participate in any training sessions as required
