Summary
Job responsibilities Weight, height & BP checks Testing and handling of clinical specimens e.g. urine dipstick NHS health checks Assist in minor surgical procedures Health promotion Dressings Act as a chaperone Diabetic foot checks ECG's QOF reviews Flu, pneumonia, B12, Shingles IM injections Ensure adequate infection control procedures in treatment and consulting rooms Phlebotomy Vaccine / cold chain storage, monitoring and recording Participate in practice audit as directed by management. Participate in local initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care. Support and participate in shared learning within the practice.
