Summary

What's involved with this role:

Triumph Consultants are looking for an HR Advisor to provide specialist HR advice and casework support across the Council. Contract is for 3 months in Bradford BD1 1HY.

Pay Rate: £22.20 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, 9:00-17:00

Contract length: 3 months

Location: Bradford BD1 1HY.

Office-based

Key requirements:

CIPD qualification or membership, or equivalent professional HR experience.

Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policy and employee relations practice.

Proven generalist HR casework experience, including absence, capability, disciplinary and grievance matters.

Confident advising, coaching and influencing managers, employees and trade union representatives.

Excellent written and verbal communication, with sound judgement and strict confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

Provide compliant, practical HR advice across the employee lifecycle.

Lead complex casework, hearings and appeals, ensuring timely and consistent outcomes.

Coach managers and HR colleagues to resolve workforce issues confidently.

Prepare correspondence, reports and case bundles, keeping systems accurate and GDPR-compliant.

Work with unions and stakeholders, supporting service improvement, policy guidance and training.
