Our client is seeking a seasoned HR Projects Specialist to lead complex, high-impact HR change programmes. This is not a generalist HR role; it is an opportunity for an experienced HR project professional who thrives on delivering people-focused change in complex, unionised environments.
If you are an experienced HR Project Manager or HR Projects Specialist with a strong track record of delivering people change, TUPE and organisational transformation in unionised environments, we would be keen to hear from you.
The Role
You will lead the HR workstreams of major business change projects from initiation through to successful implementation and closure. You will play a key role in delivering organisational change while ensuring effective consultation, stakeholder engagement and compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead HR workstreams across complex business change programmes.
Manage TUPE transfers, restructures, changes to terms and conditions, working practices and new ways of working.
Work closely with specialist HR functions including Reward, L&D and HR Business Partners.
Lead consultation activities and develop strong relationships with trade unions and key stakeholders.
Provide expert guidance on complex HR and employment matters.
Ensure projects are delivered effectively, compliantly and in line with agreed objectives and timescales.
Support the successful implementation and embedding of people change.
About You
We are looking for someone with proven experience delivering complex HR projects and organisational change.
Essential experience:
Significant experience managing HR projects, particularly TUPE, restructures, reward and terms and conditions.
Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
Proven experience working within unionised environments.
Excellent communication, consultation and stakeholder management skills.
Strong project delivery and organisational skills.
CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
Location & Working
The role is based at our client's Warrington head office, with hybrid working available. In-person collaboration will be an important part of the role, and occasional travel to other North West sites may be required depending on project requirements.
