The Role
- Deliver high‑quality Maths teaching to pupils with a range of SEN needs
- Adapt and personalise the curriculum to meet individual learning profiles
- Create engaging, scaffolded lessons that promote confidence and independence
- Work closely with the SEN team, therapists and support staff
- Contribute to a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Track progress and implement strategies that secure strong outcomes
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Good to Outstanding classroom practice
- Strong SEN experience (ASD, SEMH, MLD, ADHD or complex needs)
- Confident adapting teaching for diverse learning needs
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Passion for inclusive education and removing barriers to learning
