Summary

Our client, a highly-regarded primary school in the Didcot area, is seeking an exceptional Part-time SEND 121 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated and compassionate team. As a Part-time SEND 121 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our students. Your primary responsibility will be to work one-on-one with SEND pupils, providing personalised attention and tailored support to help them reach their full potential. This may involve delivering targeted interventions, facilitating learning activities, and collaborating closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure each child's individual needs are met.

As a Part-time SEND 121 Teaching Assistant, you will also be responsible for maintaining detailed records, tracking student progress, and providing regular feedback to the class teacher and SENCO. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in liaising with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative and holistic approach to supporting each child's development.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong academic background, ideally with relevant qualifications in education, special educational needs, or a related field. Experience working with SEND students in a school or similar setting is highly desirable, as is a deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and the ability to implement effective behaviour management strategies.
