Summary

Based at Babipur in Porthmadog LL499NY

This role connects the customer-facing and practical sides of Babipur. We’re looking for a highly capable all-rounder who enjoys moving between office work, customer communication and the warehouse.

You’ll have regular responsibility for our social customer contact, including WhatsApp Business, Instagram and Facebook comments, tags and messages, and being an active presence in the Babipur Hangout. You’ll look for posts and conversations involving Babipur, respond appropriately and make sure the right people know about anything important.

You’ll also be trained across our customer-service systems so that you can provide dependable email cover during staff absence and busy periods. This includes helping with orders, deliveries, product questions, returns and faults.

Your practical work will include:

● Processing and investigating returns

● Resolving order and stock discrepancies

● Picking and packing customer orders

● Helping with goods-in and stock counting

● Adding website restocks

● Passing useful information between the office and warehouse

● Spotting recurring questions or problems and following them through

You’ll need excellent written English, good numeracy and confidence using business systems and social platforms. You should learn products and brands quickly, notice when something does not add up and work out who or what is needed to resolve it.

This is an active role for somebody who genuinely enjoys both computer-based and physical work. It won’t suit somebody who wants to remain in one department, relies on copied responses or waits to be given each next task.
