We are looking for an experienced Level 3 Deputy Nursery Manager to support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of our Herringthorpe nursery.
About the Role
You will:
Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day management and smooth running of the nursery.
Lead, support and motivate the staff team, including recruitment, induction, supervision and development.
Support high standards of safeguarding, care and education in line with the EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
Work alongside the team to deliver an ambitious, flexible and child-led curriculum within engaging environments.
Use your knowledge of child development to support effective observation and assessment.
Ensure staffing levels, ratios, policies and procedures are maintained.
Support the management of concerns, complaints and incidents, escalating where appropriate.
Promote a positive and professional environment for children, families and staff.
What We're Looking For
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare.
Experience working within an early years setting.
Experience of supporting or leading a team.
Good knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
A positive, caring and professional approach.
A genuine passion for Early Years and developing others.
