Summary

Vehicle Technician – Battersea

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Service Technician to join a busy dealership workshop in Battersea. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have previous motor trade workshop experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Main dealership and independent garage Technicians will both be considered.

Job Details:

Location: Battersea

Salary: £37,000 basic depending on qualifications + bonus, OTE £44,320+, uncapped

Additional Bonus: £3,000 Productivity Bonus + Time Saved Bonus Scheme

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am–12:30pm

Vehicle Technician Role

- Carry out vehicle servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards

- Complete pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles

- Carry out vehicle health checks and identify additional work required

- Complete minor mechanical and electrical repairs and basic diagnostics

- Carry out authorised repairs and manufacturer-compliant warranty work

- Fit additional vehicle accessories where required

- Road test vehicles and complete workshop paperwork accurately

Vehicle Technician Requirements

- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent – essential

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic

- Main dealership or independent garage experience will be considered

- Strong servicing, inspection and mechanical repair skills

- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a workshop team

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Right to work in the UK

- Diagnostic, MOT Tester and Electric Vehicle experience is advantageous but not essential
