We are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join a leading accident repair franchise in Manchester. Duties of a MET Technician:

- Removal and refit of vehicle components to manufacturer standards, ensuring quality workmanship

- Inspection for additional damage and effective communication with the Vehicle Damage Assessor

- Safe storage and handling of displaced parts for reinstallation as a MET Technician

- Accurate reassembly and alignment of vehicles following repairs and repainting

- Adherence to health and safety policies while maintaining tools and equipment

- Ensuring all repair work meets quality standards and industry regulations

Requirements of a MET Technician:

- Level 3 / ATA / IMI qualification (essential)

- Proven experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim disciplines within a bodyshop or accident repair environment

- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to repairs

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Full UK manual driving licence

- Welding or panel repair experience is advantageous but not essential
