Duties of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:

- Conduct detailed inspections on damaged vehicles to determine repair requirements

- Accurately estimate repair costs, timescales, and document repair methods

- Liaise with insurers to secure repair authorisations while managing costs effectively

- Work closely with engineers and technicians to coordinate repair processes

- Maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction throughout the repair cycle

Requirements of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator within a busy bodyshop environment

- ATA or IMI accreditation preferred, but not essential

- Audatex experience is highly desirable

- Strong technical knowledge with excellent attention to detail

- Full UK manual driving license, with minimal points

- Ability to provide proof of right to work (passport or birth certificate)

- Willingness to complete a Basic DBS check
