Summary

We are representing a reputable family-run main dealership in Bury St Edmunds, seeking a Car Sales Manager to lead and develop their sales team.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced automotive sales professional ready to take on a leadership role within a well-established business committed to excellence in customer service and sales performance. The successful Car Sales Manager will have the chance to work in a supportive environment, with clear routes for career progression and recognition.

Benefits:

- Competitive basic salary of £30,000 with an OTE of approximately £50,000

- Working Monday to Saturday with no Sundays

- Supportive team environment with opportunities for professional development

- Standard weekly hours from 8am to 5.30pm, Saturdays from 8am to 5pm

Duties:

- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed dealership targets as a Car Sales Manager

- Manage showroom operations to ensure excellent customer experiences

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction

- Drive sales performance through strategic planning and coaching

- Support the training and development of team members

- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and industry standards

- Implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue and growth

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a senior sales role within the automotive industry, such as Senior Sales Executive or Sales Manager

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent communication and customer service abilities

- Solid track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

- Knowledge of automotive sales processes and current industry standards

- Industry qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential
