Summary

We are working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician for their busy dealership in Derby, Derbyshire. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct servicing, maintenance, and vehicle health checks

- Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment

- Carry out mechanical repairs across various vehicle makes and models

- Prepare used vehicles to a retail standard

- Perform MOT testing where qualified

- Ensure work is completed efficiently and to high standards

- Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation

- Collaborate with the workshop team to maintain productivity and quality

Requirements:

- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic

- Strong diagnostic and servicing skills

- Ability to work independently and within a team

- MOT licence is advantageous but not essential

- Full UK driving licence
