Join Sodexo as a Weekend Cook within our NationalProbation Service Approved Premises inEccles. In this lone-working role, you’ll prepare and cooknutritious, high-quality meals for residents and staff, helping to create asafe, welcoming environment.You’ll take ownership of all food preparationduring weekend shifts, ensuring meals are delivered to a high standard in linewith food safety requirements.This is a rewarding opportunity to make areal difference, supporting individuals as they transition back into thecommunity while working in a meaningful residential setting.
What you’lldo:
• Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals in afast-paced kitchen environment
• Deliver excellent food service while consistentlymaintaining high standards
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene,and EHO regulations at all times
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation in linewith best practice standards
What youbring:
• Previous experience as a cook or chef within acatering, hospitality, or food service environment
• Relevant culinary qualifications such as City &Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery (desirable)
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health& safety standards, with IOSH qualification desirable
• Passion for food, excellent attention to detail, anda genuine enthusiasm for delivering quality meals
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsincluding Word, Excel, and Outlook
