The role is responsible for managing the fullpatient dining service, including special dietary requirements, menudevelopment, stock management and budget accountability.

As our Patient DiningManager, you'll play a key part in creating positive experiences for patientsduring their hospital stay while leading a dedicated team that genuinely caresabout the service they provide. What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day patient dining service, ensuring patients receive a high-quality meal experience every day.
- Oversee menu planning, special dietary requirements and nutritional service delivery in partnership with clinical and dietary teams.
- Inspire, coach and develop a diverse team, creating a positive culture focused on service excellence and teamwork.
- Manage budgets, labour deployment, stock control and waste reduction to deliver an efficient and cost-effective operation.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, health and safety, company and Trust policies.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, colleagues and service users to continually enhance the patient dining experience.
- Lead service improvements, champion innovation and introduce new ideas that improve quality and patient satisfaction.
- Monitor operational performance, audits and customer feedback, implementing actions that drive continuous improvement.
What You Bring:
- Experience managing a large-scale catering, hospitality or food service operation.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams within a customer-focused environment.
- Strong financial awareness with experience managing budgets, labour costs and stock control.
- A sound understanding of food safety, hygiene standards and health and safety compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A proactive and resilient approach, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- A genuine passion for customer service and improving the experience of patients, visitors and colleagues.
- Experience within healthcare catering would be advantageous, but equally we're keen to hear from talented leaders from other hospitality and food service backgrounds.
