Summary

Interim Management Accountant Taunton, Somerset Up to £35 per hour ⏰ Immediate Start Available 5 Days Per Week Onsite Initially on a Timesheet Basis with Potential for a Permanent Opportunity

A successful and growing manufacturing business based in Taunton is seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join the finance team on an immediate basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to support a busy finance function during a key period. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will take ownership of the monthly management accounting process while providing valuable financial insight to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting commentary

Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations

Budgeting and forecasting support

Variance analysis and investigation of financial performance

Cash flow reporting and monitoring

Assisting with month-end and year-end processes

Supporting financial controls and process improvement initiatives

Business partnering with operational managers across the business

Providing ad hoc analysis and reporting as required

Required Experience

Previous experience within a Management Accountant position

Strong month-end and management reporting experience

Sage 200 experience is essential

Confident using Excel to analyse and interpret financial data

Able to work independently and quickly establish themselves within the team

AAT Qualified, Part-Qualified, Qualified by Experience or Fully Qualified accountants will all be considered
