Summary

Experienced Learning Support Assistant

Grade 5 – £18,210 - £18,913 (actual salary dependent upon length of service)Fixed term, initially until August 2027Start date - ASAPWe are looking for an experienced, energetic and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Newlands Primary School. The role of LSA within the school is an important and rewarding role; it provides vital support to those pupils who need it most and the opportunity to access learning as part of the usual school day. We are looking to appoint a well-motivated, flexible and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about providing high quality provision to our pupils.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven and adaptable to meet the diverse learning needs of our pupils.

• Can provide in-class support for students with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Can work effectively within a team

• Maintain a calm and professional demeanour

• Are passionate about working with children with moderate learning needs

• Are dedicated to promoting the well-being, self-esteem, and progress of all students
