Summary
Part time cleaner - 4 hours per week
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Cleaner to join their team at the company’s head office in Birmingham. This role is essential in ensuring the building remains clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors.
The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, follow established cleaning procedures, and contribute to maintaining high standards of hygiene across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
- Clean and maintain offices, break rooms, and shared areas in line with health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and recycling points, ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules to ensure all tasks are completed.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Support with occasional deep-cleaning or special cleaning projects.
Working Hours
4 hours per week
Monday: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Friday: 10:00am – 12:00pm

What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not essential – training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, with good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit to carry out cleaning duties (light lifting and standing for periods of time).
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
