Summary

A Vacancy at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking to recruit a Cancer Transformation Programme Manager across the three Acute Trusts within the Norfolk and Waveney University Hospitals Group. This new role is fixed term for 12 months only and would be suitable for secondment and flexible working. There would be an expectation to travel to all three Acute Trusts across the region as required.

Noona is a digital platform designed to collect and manage Electronic Patient-Reported Outcomes (EPROs) for patients on an oncology pathway. It enables patients to remotely report symptoms, side effects and wellbeing, enhancing communication between patients and clinical teams, and enabling clinical teams to make assessments.

The project will scope how the platform could be used most effectively. Some early suggestions are to enable assessment of patients before SACT appointments for to ascertain fitness to proceed, to enable patients undergoing Immunotherapy treatment to report any issues, and for assessment of patients being referred to a Late Effects clinic using a prepopulated questionnaire.

The key objectives of the programme are to:

• To enhance patient communication with the clinical team.

• To reduce unnecessary patient attendance at outpatient appointments

• To make patient pathways, and therefore the workforce, more efficient

• The post holder would be required to lead the rollout across NNUH, JPUH and QEH in a co-ordinated implementation plan, supported by clinical and operational colleagues.

The post holder must have a good understanding of digital infrastructures and project management skills; clinical skills are not a prerequisite, but the post holder must be able to interpret clinical pathways into operational processes.
